Update/Change fielding
The fielding systems need to be better to be more realistic and fun.
You should switch to a fielding system more like perfect inning games in the ways that players can play many more positions and players are given different positions more easily. Players only having 2 positions really take away the value that some players bring in real life with how versatile they are. Some players are only still in the mlb because they can play so many different positions and there are so many players that play more than 2 positions but can't because of how this game works. It would be way more fun to be able to move players around in the field where they can and make different defence combos.
Another thing that you should replicate from the perfect inning games are defensive substitutions. Both this and the more positions will allow more line up flexibility and allow you to move around players that you want to keep to a different position while still using a sub.
Overall, I think that this game is better in most aspects than the perfect inning games, but what keeps me and a lot of people hooked is the flexibility and control that perfect inning offers when it comes to fielding, hitting and manual play.
Side note please fix where when a ball is hit to the pitcher he fields it more cleanly instead of pumping his arm 3 or 4 times before he throws the ball.
