Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming in the September update for MLB 9INNINGS RIVALS!

■ September Update Highlights

- The following key updates are scheduled for September:

* Detailed information on new content and updates will be announced separately on the update day.

* The details listed below are subject to change depending on development progress and testing.

1. Signature Black: New Position (RP)

- Signature Black Cards will be added for Signature players whose position is RP.

- New RP-exclusive Signature Black Tier Skills and Potentials will be added.

* More details about the addition of the Signature Black RP position will be provided in the update notice.

2. New Division Ranked Tournament

- A new Division Ranked Tournament will be added, where users compete against teams from the same division.

- Eligibility for the Division Ranked Tournament will be determined based on the Division Universe Rankings.

   > At the end of the currently ongoing Division Universe Ranking season, the top 512 users from each division will qualify. (6 divisions / 3,072 users total)

   > Invitations will be sent to eligible users through the Inbox.

- Rewards will be distributed after the tournament based on the final round reached.

   > Rewards will be granted based on the round reached within each division, while maintaining a reward scale comparable to the existing Overall Ranked Tournament.

3. Lineup List: New Ranked Tournament Lineup

- A Ranked Tournament Lineup, available only during the Ranked Tournament period, will be added to the Lineup list.

- You will be able to select the Ranked Tournament Lineup from the Lineup list and manage it.

- As before, the lineup cannot be changed while a Ranked Tournament match is in progress.

4. Postseason Pick 'em

- A new 2026 Postseason Pick 'em event will be added.

   > You can participate in Pick 'em for one game each day, with rewards distributed immediately based on whether your prediction is correct or incorrect.

   > You can also select the teams you predict will advance to the Championship Series and World Series, with rewards granted based on the number of correct predictions

* More details about Postseason Pick 'em will be provided in the update notice.

5. Main Lobby: Two Main Players Displayed

- Two main players will now be shown in the Main Lobby:

  > 1 Clubhouse Leader & 1 Pitching Leader

- The Pitching Leader will appear in the lobby after additional settings are configured.

- With two players now displayed, parts of the Main Lobby UI will also be adjusted.

6. League Difficulties Consolidated

- Beginner League 1–3 and Amateur League 1–3 will each be consolidated into a single difficulty.

- If you are currently progressing through Beginner League 2 or 3, your League progress will be reset, and Amateur League 1 will be unlocked.

- If you are currently progressing through Amateur League 2 or 3, your League progress will be reset, and Expert League 1 will be unlocked.

■ UX Improvements and Other Updates

- The Signature Black menu UI will be improved.

- A Find button will be added to the item details pop-up in Storage.

- Pitcher stats displayed on the Rival Pick screen will be adjusted according to position (SP/RP/CP).

- In RECORD for League Mode, Ranked Battle, Live Match, and Club Battle, restricted player images from your own team will now be displayed.

- Nighttime lighting effects will be improved.

- No-Doubt Home Run replays will be improved.

- An issue where the bat could be displayed abnormally during an at-bat will be improved.

- A new No-Doubt Home Run cutscene has been added.

■ Major Events in September

- The following major events are scheduled for September.

1. Roberto Clemente Day Event

- An event and player card update commemorating Roberto Clemente Day will be held.

* Further details will be provided in a separate notice.

2. Lucky Pouch Event

- A special Lucky Pouch-themed event will be held to celebrate Chuseok, a Korean holiday.

- The Lucky Pouch item sold in the Event Shop will offer various rewards, including Combination-related items.

3. Signature Black RP Position Release Event

- A special event will be held to celebrate the addition of the Signature Black RP position.

* Further details will be provided in a separate notice.

4. 2026 Postseason Events

- To celebrate the 2026 MLB Postseason, a variety of events will be held, including Pick 'em and a Scoreboard Event.
