[Notice] v3.03.00 Update Notice

 

Greetings from Com2uS.

 

Please read below for details on the v3.03.00 update.

 

This update introduces a range of new content and in-game improvements, including new Moment Cards featuring standout players from the first half of the 2025 MLB season, the Ranked Slugger World Championship Event, and the new Free Position Training Reset system.

 

We’re also preparing a variety of special events to celebrate the upcoming 2nd anniversary of MLB RIVALS and the 2025 MLB All-Star Game. Full details will be shared in a separate notice, so stay tuned!

 * The update maintenance will take place during the time above.

 *  Lower versions will be blocked after the maintenance. Please make sure to update the game at the market before playing.

 *  Information (screenshots and numbers) provided in the notice is currently under development, and may differ from the actual update.

1. New Moment Cards

 - [Hot Start] Moment Cards have been added, featuring players who have made a strong impact in the first half of the 2025 MLB season.

2. Main Lobby Update: 2025 MLB All-Star Game

 - To commemorate the 2025 MLB All-Star Game, the Main Lobby for all teams will be updated to ATL’s home stadium, [Truist Park], during the following period:

  > Lobby Update Period: Jul. 9, 1:00 AM EDT - Jul. 17, 1:00 AM EDT

 

3. New Content: [Ranked Slugger World Championship]

 - To celebrate the 2025 MLB All-Star Game, the Ranked Slugger World Championship Event has been added.

 - Once the event begins, you’ll be able to participate via the banner in the [Event] menu.

  * Event details will be announced in a separate notice.

 

<How It Works>

 - The Ranked Slugger World Championship Event will be held in weekly rounds, with up to 30 games playable per round.

 - Each player can only participate in one game per round, allowing you to use up to 30 players in total each week.

 - Rankings will be determined based on the combined scores of your top 3 game records in each round.

 - The gameplay is identical to Ranked Slugger, but only Silver, Gold, and Platinum Balls will appear — Normal Balls are excluded.

<Boosted Cards>

 - During the Ranked Slugger World Championship, certain players from each team — including those selected for the 2025 All-Star Game — will receive a Boost effect.

 - The Boost effect is applied to all card rarities for the selected players.

 - When playing with a Boosted Card, Upgrade +20 and Full Swing S+ will be applied.

 - If the selected player is already at Upgrade +20 and Full Swing S+, no additional Boosts will be applied.

 - The Boost effect is only applied within the Ranked Slugger World Championship.

 

<World Championship Rewards>

 - In the Ranked Slugger World Championship, you can earn Cumulative Rewards, Game Rewards, and Ranking Rewards.

4. Free Position Training Reset Opportunities

 - You will now be able to reset the Main Material and Level Bonus Effect in Position Training for free.

 - These free reset opportunities become available once you meet the required unlock conditions.

 - Unused reset chances will expire after the designated period.

6. New Achievements: [League Mode] Finish a Game

 - A new "[League Mode] Finish a Game" achievement has been added under Challenges.

 - You can earn rewards for every 5 League Mode games completed, up to a maximum of 625 games.

7. Upgrade Success Rate Increased for Player Cards Below Level 11

 - To support faster Player Card growth, upgrade success rates for cards below Upgrade Level 11 have been boosted as of the v3.03.00 update.

8. In-Game Animation and Other Improvements

 1) Commentary Update

  - New commentary lines have been added to better match a variety of in-game situations, bringing more realism and excitement to the gameplay experience.

 

 2) New No-Doubt Home Run Animation

  - A new No-Doubt Home Run cutscene has been added.

9. Gameplay and Quality of Life Improvement

 1) Player Recruit Info Added

  - A new [Acquisition Source] button has been added to the Player Index and Player Details screens.

  - Tapping this button will display a popup showing where you can recruit the selected player.

 

 2) Ranked Battle Result Screen Improvements

  - A new tab has been added to the Ranked Battle result screen, allowing you to view detailed match records.

   > Best & Worst: Highlights key players who performed well or underperformed, along with summarized stats.

   > Team Record: Shows comprehensive hitting, pitching, and overall match stats.

   > Player Record: Displays individual hitting and pitching stats for each player.

 

  3) League Heat-Up Event UI Improvements

  - The number of Ultimate Coins acquired with event effects applied will now be clearly displayed.

  - During the event, an upward ticker will appear on the Ultimate Coin icon in the League Mode menu.

  - A [League Heat-Up Event] shortcut button has been added to the League Mode lobby.

 

 4) Tutorial Close Button Added

  - An [X] button has been added to the bottom of tutorial screens, allowing you to skip the tutorial immediately.

 

 5) Ranked Tournament Winner Celebration & UI Improvements

  - A new Winner Celebration animation has been added for Ranked Tournament champions.

  - The celebration will play when the winner is determined at the end of the Final Round.

  - You can also replay the celebration via the [Winner Celebration] button in the Ranked Tournament lobby.

  - The UI has been improved to display the winner’s information in the lobby after the tournament concludes.

 

 6) Max Training Level Notification Removed from Chat

  - Notifications for reaching the maximum Training Level will no longer appear in General or Club Chat.

 

10. Others

 1) Welcome Gift Event Re-Open

  - The Welcome Gift Event has been reopened following the v3.03.00 update.

  - Those who have previously participated will be able to join again from the beginning.

 

 2) New Player Images

  - New images of players listed below will be added.

11. Roster Change

- The list of players obtainable from Scouts and Card Packs has been updated. 

- Details on the list can be found in [Player Index and the Player Rates page].
