Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming in the October update for MLB 9INNINGS RIVALS!

■ October Update Highlights

- The following key updates are scheduled for October:

* Detailed information on new content and updates will be announced separately on the update day.

* The details listed below are subject to change depending on development progress and testing.

1. New 2026 Alternate Uniforms

- One 2026 Alternate Uniform for each team will be added to the Locker Room for crafting.

- You will receive Locker Room Points as a reward when crafting uniforms.

- Once a crafted uniform is equipped, you will be able to see players wearing the new uniform in a variety of special modes, including the Main Lobby, Live Match, RBI Battle, Ranked Slugger, and Tiebreaker Ace Showdown.

- Materials used during crafting will be saved separately for each uniform being crafted.

2. New Moment Cards

- 2026 Performer Trio Moment Cards will be added based on the results of the 2026 MLB Season Top Player Vote Event.

3. New RP-Exclusive Skills

- New Gold Tier Skills exclusive to the RP position will be added.

* More details about the new RP-exclusive Skills will be provided in the update notice.

4. New Pitching Strategy Settings

- A new Pitching Strategy feature will be added, allowing for more detailed bullpen management based on the composition of Set-up Pitchers and Mop-up Pitchers in your bullpen lineup.

- Set-up Pitcher Strategy: In addition to the existing strategy, Role-Based and Aggressive strategies will be added.

   > When Role-Based or Aggressive is applied, all stats except EDR will increase for Set-up Pitchers.

- Mop-up Pitcher Strategy: In addition to the existing strategy, an Aggressive strategy will be added.

   > When Aggressive is applied, all stats except EDR will increase for Mop-up Pitchers.

- The strategy can be configured through Lineup → Lineup Settings → Change Pitching Strategy.

5. Universe Ranking Season Cycle and Point Calculation Changes

- Both Overall Universe Rankings and Division Universe Rankings will run for a total of six seasons.

- Rankings will be determined by adding together the four highest weekly Universe Point totals recorded across the six seasons.

- The current season cycle for the ongoing Division Universe Rankings will remain unchanged, and the new rules will take effect starting with the next Overall Universe Rankings.

6. Leader Influence Added for Clubhouse Leader and Pitching Leader

- Leader Influence will be added as a level effect for the Clubhouse Leader and Pitching Leader.

- At specific levels, each Leader will grant buffs to lineup players who meet certain conditions.

   > Example 1: CON +1 to lineup players whose CON is at least 10 lower than the Clubhouse Leader's CON.

   > Example 2: VEL +1 to lineup players whose VEL is at least 10 lower than the Pitching Leader's VEL.

- The Clubhouse Leader and Pitching Leader will not receive stat buffs from each other's Leader Influence. However, lineup players can receive applicable stat buffs from both Leaders simultaneously.

- With the addition of Leader Influence, parts of the Leader tab UI in the Locker Room will also be updated.

7. HOF Recruit Material Registration Improvements

- The notification UI for Register Position Material in HOF Normal Recruit will be improved.

- An Exclude Higher Rarity Cards option will be added to the material card settings when registering position materials.

- One free Position Material requirement change per month will be added.

   > Free changes do not carry over to the following month.

   > The free requirement change can also be used in the account-limited HOF Normal Recruit, but the free-use opportunity is shared between them.

■ UX Improvements and Other Updates

- New celebration cinematics will be added for winning the Division Ranked Tournament and when your Preferred Team wins the World Series.

- When entering the Locker Room, the last tab viewed will now be displayed.

- Your Preferred Team will now be indicated when selecting AL/NL in the Deck Score Effect settings.

- A Manual Play requirement will be added to the completion conditions for League Daily Missions.

- Progress bars will be added to the Achievement list under the Achievements tab in the Mission menu.

- The visibility of unowned cards in the Collection will be improved.

- The gaze and eye movement of players displayed in the Main Lobby will be improved.

- New No-Doubt Home Runs will be added for the following players.

1. 2026 Postseason Events

- A variety of events celebrating the 2026 MLB Postseason will continue through the end of October.

2. 2026 Performer Trio Release Event

- An integrated event will be held to celebrate the release of the 2026 Performer Trio Moment Cards.

- The Moment Lucky Box available from the Event Shop will provide various Moment Card-related items.
