Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming in the July update for MLB 9INNINGS RIVALS!

■ July Update Highlights

- The following key updates are scheduled for July:

* Detailed information on new content and updates will be announced separately on the update day.

* The details listed below are subject to change depending on development progress and testing.

1. Card Combination System

- A new Card Combination system will be added, allowing you to use three player cards you own as materials to obtain one new card.

- In the July update, Moment Card Combination and Live/Season Card Combination will be introduced first, allowing you to combine cards you own to obtain new Moment Cards or Live/Season Cards. (Signature Card Combination is also planned for a future update.)

- If you use at least one Moment Card as a material during Combination, you will have a certain chance to obtain a Supreme Moment Card.

- New items that can be used in the Card Combination system will also be added.

  > Moment Guarantee Ticket: An item that guarantees the result card will be at least a Moment Card.

  > Team Select Ticket / Division Select Ticket / League Select Ticket: Items that narrow the result card pool to the team, division, or league selected.

  > Moment Combination Wildcard: An item that carries the same material value as a Moment Card and can be used in place of a Moment Card during Combination.

2. Supreme Moment Card

- A new Supreme Moment Card type will be added to bring new energy to Moment Cards.

- Supreme Moment Cards can be obtained through the newly added Combination System.

- When placed in the lineup, a Supreme Moment Card will count as two Moment Cards instead of one for Synergy counts.

- The costs for Upgrade, Training, Limit Break, Special Training, and Transcendence will be the same as those for Moment Cards, while the maximum Training Lv. may be higher than that of existing Moment Cards.

- Supreme Moment Cards do not have exclusive skills. When using a Superior Skill Change Ticket, any Moment Skill that meets the position requirements can appear in the 1st Skill Slot. (Compared to regular Moment Cards, the appearance rate for Moment Skills will be increased.)

- When a Moment Skill is obtained in the 1st Skill Slot, the Skill Slot Lock feature will become available.

- Development Transfer will be available between Moment Cards and Supreme Moment Cards.

- In the July update, four themes will be introduced first: First Spurt, Summer Monster, Slow Starter, and October Legend. Additional Supreme Moment themes will be introduced in future updates.

- Through this update, you’ll be able to meet players such as Tim Lincecum, Mark McGwire, Miguel Cabrera, Cam Schlittler, Jacob Misiorowski, and Nick Martinez across four different themes.

3. Uniform Craft System

- A new Uniform Craft system will be added, allowing you to craft Uniforms using various items as materials.

- As the first release, 2025 All-Star Uniforms will be available for crafting.

- When Uniform crafting is completed, you will receive Locker Room Points as a reward.

- Once a crafted Uniform is equipped, you will be able to see players wearing the new Uniform in a variety of special modes, including the Main Lobby, Live Match, RBI Battle, Ranked Slugger, and Tiebreaker Ace Showdown.

- Materials used during crafting will be saved separately for each Uniform being crafted.

4. Growth Extraction Event

- An event version of the Growth Extraction will be added, allowing you to extract and make use of the growth elements from developed cards.

- The Growth Extraction Event can be used separately from the standard Growth Extraction system.

* More details about the Growth Extraction Event will be announced in a separate notice.

■ UX Improvements and Other Updates

- Initial Player Selection UI Improved: The UI introducing the starting players shown when creating a team will be improved.

- Title Screen Updated: The main title image displayed when launching the game will be replaced with a more polished new visual.

- Locker Room Unlock Conditions Added: For new users, unlock conditions will be added for the Emote and Locker Room Effect content in the Locker Room.

- Certain Player Name Announcements Fixed: An issue where certain players’ name announcements did not play properly during in-game matches will be fixed.

- Character Shadows Improved: Player shadow effects on the field will be updated to look more realistic and natural.

- New No-Doubt Home Run animations will be added for the following players.

1. Combination Launch Event

- A special event will be held to celebrate the addition of the new Moment Combination system.

- Through this event, you will be able to earn materials needed for Combination.

2. All-Star Game Events

- Special events will be held to celebrate the 2026 MLB All-Star Game.

* Further details will be provided in a separate notice.

3. Ultimate Duo 9 Innings Event

- A brand-new event will be added where you build a roster around an elite duo—one pitcher and one batter—and take on AI opponents under full 9-inning standard rules.

* Further details will be provided in a separate notice.
