We’re here with a preview of the upcoming May update.

■ Key May Update Highlights

- The following major updates are planned for May.

* Detailed information on new content and updates will be shared in a separate notice on the update day.

* The details below are subject to change depending on development progress and testing.

1. New Signature Black Position: SS

- The SS position will be added to the Signature Black Card rarity.

- A position-exclusive Transcendence Potential for SS will be added.

- New Black Tier Skills will also be introduced.

- More details about the Signature Black SS position will be provided in the update notice

2. New HOF Cards

- New Normal Recruit HOF Cards and Batch 5 HOF Cards (June), featuring legendary players who left a lasting mark on MLB history, will be added.

- Along with these HOF Card additions, new HOF-exclusive Skills will also be introduced.

* More details about the new Normal Recruit HOF Cards will be provided in the update notice.

* More details about the Batch 5 HOF Cards will be shared in a separate notice.

3. Transcendence System Expansion

- The range of card rarities that can be used as materials for Signature Card Transcendence will be expanded.

- Prime and Impact cards can now be used as materials for Signature Card Transcendence.

- Even when lower-rarity cards are used as materials, the Same Player or Same Team/Position conditions will still apply.

- Material compatibility between Signature / FA Signature / World Baseball Classic Signature Cards will remain the same for lower rarities as well.

- The amount of Transcendence EXP granted will vary depending on the rarity of the material card used.

4. RBI Battle Exclusive Growth System

- A new Trait system will be added for use in RBI Battle.

- RBI Battle Trait EXP is required to unlock Traits, and can be obtained by playing RBI Battle.

- Once you earn the required amount of Trait EXP for each stage, you can train (activate) a Trait.

- Traits can increase batter stats and steal success rate, among other effects.

- Only one Trait per stage can be activated, and there will be both fixed-stat increase Traits and random-stat increase Traits.

- Randomly increased stats can be rerolled using currency after activation.

5. Moment Card Growth Balance Improvements

- The amount of Limit Break EXP and Special Training EXP required to grow Moment Cards will be reduced.

- Any Limit Break EXP and Special Training EXP invested beyond the newly adjusted maximum values will be refunded in the form of the corresponding EXP cards.

6. Rookie Mission and Senior Mission Improvements

- Rookie Mission rewards, UI, and progression flow will be improved.

- Any Rookie Missions currently in progress or already completed will be reset, allowing all users to complete them again.

- A newly revamped Scout exclusive to new users will also open, and Scout Tickets obtained by completing Rookie Missions can be used there.

7. New Ambassador: HOF

- A new HOF Ambassador will be added.

- Only HOF Cards can be registered in the HOF Ambassador. Slots will unlock based on the total number of HOF Cards you have obtained.

- By registering HOF Cards, you can obtain HOF Coins and HOF Upgrade Material Boxes every 6 days, with rewards varying based on the number of registered cards and their Upgrade Level.

8. Expanded Uses for World Baseball Classic Player Cards

- The ways World Baseball Classic Player Cards can be used as materials will be expanded.

- They can now be used as material cards for content such as Limit Break and Special Training.

* More details about this expansion will be provided in a separate update notice. 

9. New World Baseball Classic Emotes

- New World Baseball Classic Emotes will be added.

- You will be able to craft Emotes using World Baseball Classic Player Cards and items.

* More details about the World Baseball Classic Emotes will be provided in a separate update notice. 

■ UX Improvements and Other Updates

- The structure and schedule of the Pick Up Scout will be adjusted.

> After the currently ongoing Pick Up Scouts ends, the new Pick Up Scout will begin with the May Version Update.

- You will be able to rotate the camera in the Main Lobby by dragging left or right.

- Chat notifications will be improved.

> Turning chat notifications ON/OFF will now only control notifications shown at the top of the main screen. Notification information can still be checked at all times within the chat window.

> When Club members meet certain notification conditions, such as acquiring or growing cards, those updates will also be sent to Club chat.

- A new Lineup Overview feature will be added, allowing you to check the key stats of all players in a lineup at once.

> A filter function will also be added so you can check each lineup type separately.

- A new View All feature will be added to the Position Training menu so you can check the training status of all positions at once.

- A Receive Balls button will be added to the Inbox, along with a feature that lets you set an Inbox expiration period for bulk collection.

- Potential growth will be improved so that Potential levels can be developed in bulk.

- The UI and explanations for the RBI Battle Event and International Training Event will be improved.

- HOF player card info will now display the player’s final voting percentage at the time of Hall of Fame induction. For players inducted without a vote or through committee selection, Special Induction will be displayed instead.

- For products/items with purchase conditions attached (e.g., Perform Signature Black Recruitment 1 Time), you will be able to tap the dimmed area to check detailed information.

- When purchasing products with H Cash, the amount of H Cash you own will now display commas for thousands separators.

- The frequency of unnecessary animations shown during Scout will be reduced.

- The uniform patches for the New York Mets and Los Angeles Angels will be updated to the latest versions.

- The batting matrix UI shown during swings will be improved so it does not overlap with the baserunner UI.

- Fielding motions for fence play will be improved.

- Batter entrance animations will be improved.

- New replay scenes will be added.

- New No-Doubt Home Runs will be added for the following players:

■ Major Events in May

- The following major events are scheduled for May.

1. Lou Gehrig Day Event

- A special event will be held to celebrate the upcoming Lou Gehrig Day.

2. Signature Black Event

- To celebrate the Signature Black position update, Daily Missions and Event Games will be held.

* More details will be provided in a separate notice.
