Hello, this is the producer of MLB 9 Innings Rivals.

We would first like to express our gratitude to all users for playing MLB 9 Innings Rivals. 

We acknowledge that we have fallen short of your expectations in our preparations for the 2024 season. We extend our deepest apologies.

The following items cover more details of the upcoming March update and our initial update plans for April and May.

1. Rival Series Mode (March)

- This is an exclusive simulation mode that allows users to utilize Live Cards and Season Cards that are not your preferred team or are no longer used.

- A total of 30 teams will be composed into a group to play 162 pennant race games. Participants will be able to obtain various rewards such as Points and items based on a tier system.

- Basic stats can be boosted by linking the lineup with features such as Rival Pick.

- More details will follow in separate notices.

2. Rival Pick (March)

- This feature boosts or grants additional effect to Live Cards of players specially selected monthly based on their performance.

- A batter and a pitcher from each team are selected, and their cards will have boosted Potential and Deck Score and have additional effects in their stats for a designated period of time.

3. New Crafting (March)

- As shared in our previous Dev Note, a new crafting recipe and card packs will be added.

- Preferred Team Signature Player and Signature Card of other teams will be used as materials. Details on the required quantity and possible number of crafting will be informed once again on a separate detailed notice.

4. Season Opening Event (March)

- Various events are prepared to offer you various rewards including Stars, Special Cards and lots of free scout chances starting with the Seoul Series happening in March.

[Update Plans after the 2024 Season Opening]

We plan to focus on improving existing content that has room for improvements and/or many users finding it inconvenient.

1. Battle Mode Revamp

- Live Match and Ranked Battle will be revamped.

- [Live Match] The gameplay method, matchmaking structure, and reward system will be improved to offer a better match experience.

- [Ranked Battle] The gameplay method and matchmaking mechanism will be improved so the tier and ranked system operate based on the OVR.

- We will review the overall balance of Battle Mode rewards thoroughly to enable user growth and meet user expectations.

2. Club Battle Renewal

- Club Battle is preparing to be revamped to improve cooperation among clubs and the battling fun.

- We hope Club Battles will improve ties among users and heighten the excitement.

3. New Progression System

- A new development system is being prepared to offer new growth motives for users who have reached their growth threshold and allow users to progress their Lineup with the existing growth method.

4. Other

- The quantity of Special Cards for each team will be rebalanced.

- Game guide and QoL will be improved to allow new users to settle into the game.

- Deck Score effect will be expanded.

- Event and event game rewards will be rebalanced.

- We are in the process of receiving separate licenses to add selected retired players who need separate contracts. To start off, we are under preparation to introduce Asian players in the first batch.

Our team follows specific protocols when reorganizing and adding content via updates. Specifically, we require MLB approval of the build in which the content was implemented two weeks prior to the update, and planning at least one month in advance. Subsequently, we proceed with further development and final quality assurance.

We ask for your kind understanding in that, despite our desire for quick updates on various content, such a process practically hinders us from conducting more than one build update per month.

We have received tremendous love and support from users around the globe following our official launch in July 2023. MLB 9 Innings Rivals promises to offer more content and events for users to enjoy the MLB with a more realistic gaming experience as we head into the 2024 season.
