Greetings, Captains.

We are here to provide you with details on the Aug. 13th Update Note.

 

In this update, [Industry] will be added to kick off the new Season content's implementation.

Several features in the game, including the Approval Rating and Law systems, will be revamped with the addition of new content.

 

As mentioned in the pre-notice, a series of content additions and balance adjustments will be implemented in phased updates to shape a better gaming environment.

 

Please read below for more details on the update.

 


 

◈ Aug. 13th Update Note

 


 

■ Additions 

 

▶ Industry

- Industries that allow you to choose the city's development direction will be added.

 · An "Industry Management" icon where you can manage the city's Industry will be added on the lower left of the main screen.

 

[Approval Rating]

- You can view your current Approval Rating from each Industry. You can increase your Approval Rating via Donate Supplies.

 

 

[Industrial Incident]

- You can use specific items to support an Industry of your choice and obtain a certain amount of rewards and Approval Rating.

 · The "Industrial Incident" tab will unlock after clearing the new Leader mission.

 

 

[Featured Industry]

- You can choose 1 of the 5 Featured Industries: Industry, Agriculture, Finance, Technology, and Healthcare.

 · You can choose a new Featured Industry each season.

* The Season reset will not be applied in this update, and will be applied in the next update. 

* Please understand that once you have selected the industry, you will not be able to select other industries until the next update.

 

 

· Industry-exclusive factories can be built after selecting your Featured Industry. You can produce special items that cannot be produced in other Industries from these factories.

 · The items produced by the Industries can be used to fuel city development or for trade at the Trade Base.

- The Approval Rating system will be revamped.

 · Benefits that allow you to manage the city more efficiently will be granted as your Approval Rating rises.

- Your Approval Rating can be boosted through the following activities.

 · Supply heating to Generator and adjust Cookhouse ration

 · Support Industry Incident

 · Send gifts to citizens

 · Sign Laws

 · Construct specific buildings, secure expert labor force, etc.

- Current Approval Rating will be displayed on the main screen instead of Current Temperature.

* [Books x10] will be sent to all Captains via mail following the update as compensation for the change.

* You can raise the Approval Rating from the city by giving Books as a gift to citizens.

 

▶ Stock Market

A Stock Market where you can trade stocks with Shillings will be added.

 · The Stock Market building will be available for construction when you unlock Lv. 6 City Planning Bureau.

 · You can use Shillings to buy and sell stocks at market price from the [Stock Market].

 · The stock price changes at random. Stocks have a daily purchase limit.

 

▶ Expert

- 24 new Experts will be added.

 · The new Experts can be obtained by using Flares at the Beacon.

 · The special ability level of Experts can be increased by upgrading them.

▶ Law

- A "Law" menu where you can use Decrees to temporarily boost city development will be added.

 · Decrees that can be used in the Law menu can be obtained by signing specific Laws at the Hall of Law.

 · A fixed amount of HEAT Coins will be consumed when using a Decree, followed by a cooldown until the Decree can be used again.

 

▶ Tornado

- Tornadoes that attack the city periodically will be added.

 · The Tornado feature is activated from Chapter 3 of the city's development. Tornadoes will appear at 7pm every day based on your region's time.

 · Buildings will be damaged when a Tornado strikes the city.

 · Buildings damaged by Tornadoes can be repaired using a Wrench and specific resources. Repairing damaged buildings will increase your Approval Rating and earn you a certain amount of Shillings.

* [Wrench x5] will be sent to all Captains via mail as an update special reward.

 


 

■ Changes

 

▶ Level

- The amount of EXP required to increase the city level will be adjusted for all levels.

 · Your current city level will be maintained.

* To help you adapt to the change, the productivity of resources will be boosted in proportion to your city's level and population for about 1 month after the update.

 

▶ Resource

- The method for gathering Wood, Coal, Food, and other resources around the camp will be changed.

 · You can now use a certain amount of Machine Tools to gather lots of resources instantly.

 

▶ Production

- Upgrading the Synthesis Factory will now increase the production output of products.

- The list of items available for production at each production building will be partially changed, and new item recipes will be added.

- The production list of the Production Workshop and Craftwork Factory will be changed.

* To minimize the inconvenience caused by the adjusted required material amount, [Selective Daily Necessities Supply x20] and [Selective Craftwork Supply x10] will be sent to all Captains who have a playing record until the update maintenance via mail.

- The production item below will be deleted and no longer be available for production. (Updated on 08/13 07:10 PDT)

 · Compressed Coal, Kerosene, Refined Oil, Potato Pancake, Flour, Biscuit, Hard Dome, Light Transmitting Material, Theory and Reasoning, Material Research, Advanced Science Technology, and Future Science Technology

* The item in your possession at the time of update will be retrieved and returned to your account as Shilling x1 per quantity after the update.

* Core Component x1 will be sent to all Captains as a compensation for the change.

 

▶ City Planning Bureau

- The city can reach Chapter 21 in its development stage at the City Planning Bureau.

 · The rewards for new stages will be added.

 · The upgrade requirement for certain stages will be adjusted following the expansion.

- The "Experts" menu at the City Planning Bureau will be deleted.

- New animation effects will be added when upgrading the city stage.

- The City Planning Bureau's UI will be changed.

 

▶ Law Centre

- The Law Centre will be revamped.

 · Existing "Decrees" and "Signed Laws" will be reset, and the new Law effects will be implemented.

 

- A new item "Quill Pen" will be added.

 · Quill Pens can be used to sign bills in the new Law system.

- The layout and UI of the Hall of Law will be changed in accordance with the revamp.

- The following rewards will be sent as compensation for the Hall of Law revamp.

* All Shillings previously used in Decrees and signing Laws will be sent via mail after the update.

* Quill Pens equal to the number of Laws signed previously will be sent via mail.

* [Quill Pen x5] will be sent to all Captains via mail as a reward for the Hall of Law's revamp.

 

▶ Beacon

- The survivor-finding feature using Flares will be removed.

 

 

- A "Use 10 Times" feature that lets you use 10 Flares at once will be added.

- A "Skip All Animations" feature will be added when finding Expert Clues.

- An "Experts" tab will be added.

 · You can view details of the Experts in possession at the Experts tab and train Experts to raise their level.

- The cost of Flares available for purchase at the Beacon will be changed from 52 Gold → 100 Gold.

- Modified so that existing experts other than newly added experts cannot be discovered using flares.

 

▶ Laboratory

- Technology Research available at the Laboratory will be revamped entirely.

 · 74 Technologies with new effects will be added.

 · All existing Technologies will be deleted and researched Technologies will be reset.

* The compensation for the reset will be sent via mail based on the progress of Technology Research up until the update.

 

 

- Certain items that were previously available only from Research will now be available for production based on the city's level.

 

▶HEAT Contact Station

- Selecting "Merchant" from the HEAT Contact Station will now direct you to Item Shop > Honour Shop.

- A "Refresh" feature that lets you obtain new missions by using a certain amount of Gold will be added.

 

▶ Building

- The construction cost of the following buildings will be adjusted.

 · Synthesis Factory, Production Workshop, Craftwork Factory

- The MAX level of the following buildings will be increased.

 · Dwellings: Lv.14 → Lv. 20

 · Synthesis Factory, Production Workshop, Craftwork Factory: Lv. 7 → Lv. 10

 · Coal Mine, Lumberyard, Greenhouse, Iron Mine: Lv. 7 → Lv. 10

 · School: Lv. 5 → Lv.9

- The upgrade cost of certain buildings will be adjusted.

 · The upgrade cost for Tent, Greenhouse, Coal Mine, Lumberyard, Iron Mine, Warehouse, and Cookhouse will be changed.

- The amount of resources consumed in the Generator and Cookhouse will be adjusted, and you can Overload the two buildings.

- The following buildings will be removed due to the content update.

 · Children’s Home, Resource Base, Refinery, Super Factory, Argentavis Statue, Irish Elk Statue

 · All buildings that can be built through Sign Law

* If your city has any of the buildings listed, they will be automatically removed from the city after the update. All currencies used to construct and upgrade the buildings will be sent via mail.

* [Steam Core x3] will be sent to all Captains as a token of apology for the inconvenience caused.

* There may be a shortage of dwellings after the update due to citizens who were living in Children's Home before the update. (Updated on 08/13 08:30 PDT)

 

▶ Expedition

- The refresh time for Expedition will be changed from every week to every 4 days.

- The rewards available from Expeditions will be changed as below.

- Medicine(Internal Use) and Medicine(External Use) will no longer be used in Expedition.

 

▶ Shop

- Items for sale at the Item Shop will be changed, and their price and purchase limit will be adjusted as below.

- The components and price of certain in-game purchase products will be changed.

- If the amount of currency required for purchasing a desired quantity of items at the Shop exceeds the amount of currency you possess, the quantity will appear in red characters.

 

▶ HEAT Membership

- A QoL feature will be added to the HEAT Membership menu.

 · A "Tap to Refresh" button that directs you to the reward for your current membership level will be added.

 · A "Collect All" function that allows you to collect all the unclaimed Heat Pass rewards at once will be added.

- The Heat Pass level rewards will be changed as below.

 · The changed Heat Pass will be applied on Sep. 1st.

▶ Miscellaneous

- The list of banned words will be improved to shape a better Chat environment.

- An issue where in-game text is displayed improperly in certain language settings will be improved.

- The tutorial and early-game route will be optimized to improve user-friendliness.

 · Abandoned Coal Mine will be added in the early phase of the game.

 · You will now have to select resources to activate Coal Mine/Greenhouse/Lumberyard built for the first time.

 · New quests related to the Beginner's Guide will be added.

- The categorization of buildings in the construction queue will be improved.

 


 

■ Bug Fixes

 

- An issue where the construction/upgrade effects of some buildings are different from the actual value will be fixed.

- An issue where the construction progress bar would stop when constructing certain buildings will be fixed.

- An issue where the reward for the "30-day Check-in Reward Event" cannot be collected in certain regions will be fixed.

- An issue where Rapid Rail transportation is available even when there are no workers placed in the Generator will be fixed.
